Child’s Dream is excited to announce the expansion of our educational initiatives in Thailand, focusing on providing support to underserved populations through strategic partnerships and scholarship programmes.

In collaboration with the Foundation for Education and Development (FED) and Help Without Frontiers Thailand Foundation (HwF), we are extending our reach to the Thai-Myanmar border region, addressing the needs of migrant youth and marginalised Thai students. Both FED and HwF have a commendable history of aiding communities in education and healthcare as well as capacity development for migrants. By partnering with these organisations, Child’s Dream aims to bridge educational gaps, offering high school scholarships to both local and migrant students, aligning with our mission to improve access to basic education.

Simultaneously, our high school and vocational school scholarship programme is expanding to three new host schools in Chiang Mai Province, with a focus on areas where minoritized ethnic and stateless students face educational challenges. The selected schools were chosen for their inclusive policies and proven track record of higher employment rates for graduates.

The initiative responds to the educational inequalities faced by stateless and minoritzed ethnic students in Mae Ai district, where 1,800 students are stateless. Child’s Dream believes that by supporting education in these areas, students will gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to effectively address socioeconomic challenges faced by their communities. Through these strategic expansions, we remain committed to our goal of increasing access to quality education and better employment opportunities for underserved students in Thailand.
