Youth Connect is already addressing gaps in education by focusing on skills training in existing schools, apprenticeships for recently graduated students, and a career centre to assist students in finding employment.

The Picturebook Guesthouse was added in 2012 and is used as a training centre to provide a hands-on experience for apprentices to learn all about hospitality management, while simultaneously supporting Youth Connect, including acting as a growth engine for future social enterprises.

With the generous financial support of elea Foundation, we were able to acquire the needed plot of land in the city centre of Mae Sot and subsequently built the guest house from scratch.

Ever since its opening in 2012, the Picturebook Guesthouse has attracted travellers from all over the world and ranks number 1 on Tripadvisor for B&B’s and Inns in Mae Sot.
