An initiative that aims to connect Thai and migrant youths to better employment after their formal education, Youth Connect provides these three services: (1) specialised vocational skills training, (2) internships with local businesses and organisations, and (3) career centre to facilitate job search. The curriculum of this project was designed based on surveys that were conducted to determine the most useful and relevant skills that should be taught to students. Connections to organisations were set up and the career centre was organised. From the vocational skills training, students can move progressively to work placements or internships with guidance from the career centre. We also support The Picturebook Guesthouse.
